What is a flexitank?
A flexitank is a large bladder with valves that fits inside an ISO 20-foot container. VinLog offers flexitanks in sizes from 10,000 to 24,000 litres.
What can be transported in a flexitank?
Flexitanks are designed for single-use transport of compatible, pumpable liquids classified as non-dangerous goods. At VinLog, we mainly transport bulk wine, but we can also ship oils, coconut water, nectars, and more. The flexitank can be modified according to your requirements and the liquids that you want to transport. It is also possible to install special valves that fit your connections and products.
How does it work?
Thanks to its multi-layer structure and barrier technology, the VinLog flexitank prevents the wine from contamination and oxidation. It is also impermeable to light. This allows us to ensure that there is no loss of product quality during the transport. The inner layers are made out of polyethylene (PE), food-safe according to the FSSC 22000 international standard and BPA-free. The aluminum layer is light-impermeable and the outer polypropylene layer gives the flexitanks their stability. The whole structure of the flexitank guarantees that your product arrives in the best quality.
